Rain

As i sit here on my sofa, typing, it’s raining a lot outside, and has been all day, so on the last day of my holiday (not counting the weekend of course) i’m sat on my laptop, not doing much. Not litterally on it, i find my ass cheeks get in the way of typing. Anyway, yesterday i went to the Science Museum, to look at an exhibit on the LHC, which, for some reason, i find endlessly fascinating. I think i want to be a scientist really.

20Twenty Cricket

So England manage to make a fool of themselves at yet another sport. Recently we’ve been pathetic in the rugby, pathetic in the cricket, and bizarrely enough OK at football. What really annoys me, isn’t the fact we get beat all the time, let’s face it, i’m used to that by now, it’s just the fact that the teams always think they’re good enough to progress to the next round, or, even, “if the luck is with us” win whatever tournament they’re in.

I don’t understand this attitude, it’s one thing to be positive, but sometimes i think that this positivity makes them think they should qualify for the next round each time they play, and therefore play as though it’s the other team that has to do all the work, as they are already through. Annoys me immensely.

Here is a link to my youtube channel. I have three aZaidou videos uploaded. They’re a band a few of my friends are in, and are very good. This is them playing at the Bedford in Balham in London. Check them out here…

wheretopull.com is tired

Here at wheretopull.com we are a little tired, and likely not to post for a while due to an impending state of being on holiday! Yah! Though we may find an internet cafe somewhere and add a few things along the way.

Do watch this space.

To unlock or not

The BBC has an interesting article on whether the Apple iPhone should be allowed to be unlocked by consumers, to enable them to use it on another network. Currently, in the US, it can only be used on AT&T, and in the UK O2 will be the only network you can use the phone on.

If i was to buy an iPhone, and i’m not in the market for one, then the phone is mine, and i should be allowed to do with it what i want. If i buy any other electrical equipment, i can do to it what i like, it may void any warranty, but that’s my issue. Surely this should be the same?

Apple are in no place to call this illegal, and frankly, Apple shouldn’t even be interested in this. They may have AT&T & O2 complaining to them about it but maybe they should have just let the phone be available on all networks, instead of one per country?

Just a thought.

Walking to work

I did that today because of the before mentioned tube strikes. Took about 70 mins, and you know what i thought most about it? The air in London is very polluted with so much traffic on the streets. Really not very good for you at all. I’d avoid walking at rush hour if i were you.
